The Office of the Special Prosecutor’s asset recovery and management team has seized several items, including luxury vehicles, jewellery, weapons, and documents relating to landed properties from the Trassaco residence of CEO of Goldridge Company Limited, Nana Yaw Duodu, also known as Dr. Sledge.
The OSP seized the items after a search was conducted at his residence on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Officials from the OSP also conducted a search at the East Legon offices of the company.
The searches were conducted as part of ongoing investigations into suspected corruption and corruption-related offences linked to the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) gold trade programme.
According to a post on the OSP’s X account, Wednesday, October 29, the searches were carried out under warrants issued by the High Court in Accra.
Nana Yaw Duodu is under investigation for suspected corruption and corruption-related offences linked to the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) gold trade programme, which allegedly caused a loss of US$94 million to the State.
Dr. Sledge Nana Yaw Duodu was arrested by the OSP for questioning in September 2025.
